And an even bigger dream should be that we could go to the recordstore and buy an original live cd of the GINO VANNELLI / Metropole Orchestra concert in Roosendaal, because we all want to support our most favorite Singer, isn't it ??? Most people are destroying artists careers by copying all music for free on the internet, and we Barend and Trees believe that's the most unfair thing to do.
Beginning next year we can treat ourselves with Niels Lan Doky's new album produced by GINO VANNELLI with at least a few GINO VANNELLI songs and : "Parolae Per Mio Padre" is on Niels Lan Doky's new album for sure!! A great new years musical GIFT to buy for your loved ones and for yourself ofcourse.

Monday 2 October 2000: A PROMISE FROM THE PRODUCER !!!
After tons of incoming e-mails with questions about the recording of the GINO
VANNELLI / METROPOLE ORCHESTRA CONCERT in Roosendaal, the Producer, Frits Bayens of the NPS and the Radio program : The Bands on Sundayevening, promised us to email us when the concert will be broadcast and we promise you all to write it in this GINO VANNELLI newspaper as soon as we hear the date. Gino will
mix the tapes Himself, so we get REAL VANNELLI QUALITY AGAIN !!! Anyways to be sure you can listen every sundayevening to this program The Bands, it's a nice program, with good, very good music !!! And it is the only program in which the Metropole Orchestra structural can be listened to in a JAZZ repertoire and only a few people know that the Metropole Orchestra moves and plays and is engaged in : JAZZ.
This program called : The Bands is always on Sundayevening Radio 2: 23.00-24.00pm.
So we have something good, very good to look forward to. We keep you updated.

What a shock to see the title of ALIVE BY SCIENCE on the sheetmusic at the rehearsals and to hear the Musicians rehearse the first song !!!!! A song with the smell of real LOVE!!! Here we go .................
Sunday 24th of September 2000:GINO IN THE MOST HAPPIEST and RELAXED MOOD EVER................
Was it Music-Heaven or NOT in Roosendaal ????? We drove GINO and His Wife into the night with these FANTASTIC FEELINGS and EMOTIONS, we cannot explain with the right English words how happy GINO was and how He loves the Metropole Orchestra!!! After all this hard, very hard work and troubles and rehearsels etc......
the final night was a super, SUPER musical experience!!!! A Musical experience beyond everybody's dream!!!GINO REALLY, REALLY loves and has deep, very deep respect for the Conductor Mr. Dick Bakker, Gino and his Wife made that very clear!! They both love the Man and the way he handled everything and everybody, His very BIG heart and His endless patience. Big applause for Mr. Dick Bakker!! All the Musicians of this GREAT Orchestra played with their hearts, OTMARO RUIZ proves again he really, really is the Master of the Grand-Piano. JIMMY HASLIP a very kind super good and dedicated Bass-Guitar player, JEROEN DE RIJK and FRITS Landesbergen, great Musicians but also people with a good and big heart for sure. And as a great gift NIELS LAN DOKY from Denmark performed live for us all another Master of the Grand-Piano and Composer!! What a thrill to see 2 Masters of the Grand-Piano playing next to eachother, this dream which came true is growing bigger and bigger. Roosendaal grounds were shaking for sure during this swinging and breathtaking concert!! It was like we all were out of this crazy busy world into this peaceful and emotional Music-paradise for 2 1/2 hours.
But than even bigger things happened when GINO introduced a singer from Norway who lives in Denmark : We both are so happy that the audience was so good to GINO and also to all the Musicians!! Applause for the audience from Holland, France, England and Belgium.
We are going to write our own story with our own words about this incredible and unforgetable concert soon, but now we are bombed with
e-mails, and we have to try to come back in real life again, BUT please if you want to have your opinion or your own story in the concerts reviews page or on the Fans page please e-mail it to us and when you have troubles with the English writing we try to translate it for you,
but we must show GINO and His WIFE how we feel about this concert, GINO LOVES TO READ how we people of the audience feel and think about His life's work.

Thursday 21st of September 2000:STILL 2 DAYS TO GO ................
Gino VANNELLI, Otmaro RUIZ, Jimmy HASLIP and Jeroen DE RIJK are rehearsing with the Metropole Orchestra, and the rehearsals are going very well!!Very hard work for everybody but Saterday's concert will be FANTASTIC !!! and VERY SPECIAL !!! Barend spoke with OTMARO RUIZ and he is feeling great and he is a very proud Dad!!! We received an e-mail from the Webmaster of the Metropole Orechestra, Mieke Honigh, to tell us that she updated her website with photos of the REHEARSALS!!! So go there and ENJOY !!!!!!!!!!!! We made a link on our frontpage USA and on our frontpage NL, Really great photos !!! THANKS Mieke Honigh for your GREAT, BEAUTIFUL and FANTASTIC WORK!!!
Friday 15th of September 2000:SOLD OUT ................
Guess what ??? We received an e-mail from Gino's management tonight and they confirmed Holland !!! But they also wrote that all tickets are sold !!! WOW!!! Holland we did it again !!! FANTASTIC !!!Ofcourse we checked and we called the "uitlijn" and we got this woman on the phone who first said we do not sell tickets for GINO VANNELLI so Trees said : "say what??" And yelled : "you do!!" "Yes you sell tickets for GINO VANNELLI for sure," "nooooo she said," "YESSS Trees said!!!" So after some yelling she decided at last to look in the computer and had to apologize because they did sell tickets for GINO VANNELLI BUT THE TICKETS WERE SOLD OUT NOW !!! There are no more tickets for sale!! ROOSENDAAL IS SOLD OUT !!! "Thank God" Trees said "that's good !!!" And the woman did not know what to say!!
Most people in this world do not feel the need to help another person and they are not dedicated to their work, we also e-mailed the organizers and are waiting for their answer but if the "uitlijn" does not sell anymore you can
be sure it's sold out !!!

Go for it.........................We heard people are coming from England, France, Switzerland for this very special GINO VANNELLI CONCERT with the Metropole Orchestra!!
The organization told us if the tickets sale go quick and the GINO VANNELLI concert is sold out fast they will try for a second concert !!! So let's get the house SOLD OUT!!!
TUESDAY 18 July 2000:Good news, very good news, AWESOME NEWS !!!!!! We just came back from Roosendaal with GINO VANNELLI LIVE CONCERT TICKETS !!!!!!!! We could buy tickets and you all can buy tickets now ....But you have to drive to Roosendaal, downtown Roosendaal and go to a very cosy Grand-Café in the heart of Roosendaal called SHAGALL,Grand-Café CHAGALL. The organization of the Jazz Festival in Roosendaal starts the sale of the tickects from today.Only in this Grand-Café for now and after August the first the "uitlijn" Tel.no.: 0900-0191, will start the GINO VANNELLI tickets sale too. SO GO FOR IT !!!!!!!! It is very easy to find and when you are there in the Grand-Café CHAGALL you can drink a very nice CAPPUGINO eat a delicious applecake with whipped-cream, real QUALITY from Noord-Brabant!!! And buy GINO VANNELLI LIVE CONCERT TICKETS at the same time, what do you want more in life ?????? LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL!! Now we have to get Schouwburg de Kring sold out for GINO, that must be NO problem at all for Holland and the concert is on a Saterday so you can get to Roosendaal very easy, by car or by train!!
In the local newspaper for the South-West of Holland called BN De Stem (The voice) was
already an article published 10 days ago, but only people who live in the South-West of Holland can read this newspaper and see the article, also in the magazine of the Schouwburg de Kring is a BIG advertisement, but who gets this magazine ??? Only people who live in or around Roosendaal,
so we visited the Schouwburg de Kring also today and we got a magazine with the GINO VANNELLI advertisement!!
