A message from the editors dated Sunday 9 March 2008: After talking to Rheinhardt Melz last week, Gino Vannelli's Drummer in the Portland Band, we changed all the links to the "Gino Vannelli live at the Orange Lounge" videoclips on this web page because it does not work anymore and the videoclips are gone... But you can still order the downloads of the 5 live Gino Vannelli songs (only music no videoclips) and it's worth while for sure!!! Read the tips underneath!!! Thanks for telling us Rheinhard that the links did not work anymore and that they deleted the videoclips... A big pity for us all.
When we type this it's Tuesday 7 September 2009 and most of the videoclips seem to be disappeared from the internet, no more Orange Lounge on MSN Canada so here is a great soundclip of Gino Vannelli's BLACK CARS with different arrangements compared to the original BLACK CARS...
Today it's Wednesday the 16th of September 2009 and we found a new link with all 5 GINO VANNELLI videoclips live at the Orange Lounge, when you click on playlist(5) you will see the 5 videoclips this link is almost 30 minutes long. And GINO VANNELLI's BLACK CARS is there too!!!
Read the tips... Don't know if this still works??? But you can always try... Trying to get GINO VANNELLI music is most of the time GOOD & POSITIVE!!!

We are just fans and amateurs with a Gino Vannelli hobby, we are no commercial business or something like that.
We wrote about this in the Gino Vannelli newspaper, page 5.
We mean how we paid and downloaded this live performance...........
We think it was page 5 of the Gino Vannelli newspaper dated Sunday 21 May 2006.
We also wrote or tried to write, how we did it, on this page 6 of the "These Are the Days" web pages, if you hit the word tips you can read something in our poor English/American.

A few tips from the Editors dated Sunday 21 May 2006.
Today we (the editors) bought the 5 Gino Vannelli live tracks through the Sympatico / MSN Music Store, very easy, only you have to login and register, so we did and we got this problem of filling in a form with province... there were only Canadian provinces to choose from and nothing for foreign countries. We had no other choice to fill in Quebec and also a postal code from Quebec, so we searched postal codes from Quebec on the world wide web and found a few. We sincerely hope it's still legal because we really wanna do this the right way but we saw or found no other possibility. Here are a few postal codes from Quebec that you can use if you want of course : H2C 1V8 or G2L 1 H2 or G3Z 1J4 GOOD LUCK !!!
The 5 GINO VANNELLI live downloads are so GOOD that it's really worth while the trouble to fill in this form. Questions ??? Ask us now !!!
The Black Cars version is unbelievable impressive and soooooo GOOD, we think everything Gino Vannelli creates is good but this BLACK CARS VERSION is really, really superb. A MUST HAVE for every Gino Vannelli fan and music-lover on this planet. Our ears, minds and hearts are spoiled rotten this Sunday with joy en enjoyment because of Gino Vannelli's music again and again... And the band is great too of course Gino's voice plays with the musical instruments and the Musicians add big quality to Gino Vannelli's music but The Master Of Music keeps on to amaze us and keeps on making us happy and with these wonderful and good musical works of art. There is divine music more beautiful than words can tell :

We have really no idea but we see at Amazon dot com in The Gino Vannelli Music-Heaven !!! Gino Vannelli's new cd "These Are The Days's for the "normal USA" price and not as an import anymore... So does that mean that the cd is released in in the USA ??? We think so...

A new information for all the parisian lovers of Gino's music.
This last week end i ve been in one of the greatest shopping center from
Europe in the heart of Paris : "Châtelet-les Halles" of course in this
center you could find a big Fnac store i ve checked the Gino Vannelli cd
case.
And what a big surprise something like 15 cd's of the new album are
displayed in two rows in front all the buyers at "V" letter from "variétés
internationales" (international easy listening).
So no problem for all the parisian fans (or the tourists) to find this new
cd for only 20 euros.

The price is very good for an import cd only 20,12 euros so everybody could buy it without waiting for a french issue by Universal.

(1) : Dear Barend & Trees,
I was hoping you could answer a question for me. I just received the new
Gino CD, "These Are the Days" and the actual CD is without any writing on
it at all. It doesn't say Gino's name on it, it doesn't have the title of
the CD or even the record company. It is completely blank! Yet, all the
songs are fine. The recording is fine. Do you know anything about this?
Was your CD without any writing on it? Please let me know.

(2) : Dear Barend & Trees,
I DID order it through Amazon, but through another source that they had
listed. They have these options of buying new or used CD's at a cheaper
price, and they arrive much quicker, so I decided to order it through this
other source. It was listed as a NEW cd. It is definitely a source
supported by Amazon, so I will contact Amazon and report this to them. I
am
not happy about this at all.
When ordering items from Canada to be shipped to the US it takes about
three
weeks to receive something. And it usually is much more expensive.
Amazon
continually listed Gino's CD as an Import, with no indication as to when
that status was going to change. I was anxious to receive the CD so I
opted
for this other option, completely unaware that something like this would
happen.

(3) : Hello again,
Check out the link below. As you can see, the sellers says "BRAND NEW,
FACTORY SEALED". The CD was factory sealed, and the CD cover and the
insides look legitimate, so I don't know who to blame for this forgery.
But
I have emailed them and asked for a refund. Hopefully they will respond
quickly.

(4) : I definitely received the CD-booklet and it looks legitimate. It does not
look like a copy at all. It's just the CD that is a forgery. Thanks for
the scanned image of the actual CD. That is what I should have received!!
Hopefully everything will be taken care of in a proper manner and I won't
have to fight with these people.
By the way, your English is very, very good. You shouldn't feel a need to
apologize for it.

(5) : There are two addresses on the invoice receipt; one in Watertown, New York
(the billing address) and the other is in Kanata, Ontario, Canada. I
emailed them (my-music.com) with my complaint but haven't heard back from
them yet. I also emailed Amazon.com and they responded immediately and
are issuing a refund right away. It's all very interesting.

(6) : Dear Barend and Trees,
Just wanted to let you know that I spoke with someone from
mymusic.com and they will replace the blank cd which they
sent me. They say the cd probably just didn't get stamped
with the label and as I think about it, I think that is a
possibility. Everything else about the cd and the booklet
seemed legitimate, so hopefully it was just a case of the
cd not getting the label stamped on it. Hopefully I will
get the new cd very soon. I am very anxious to get it
back.
I will try to write something about the cd in a separate

I received a note from amazon.ca that Gino's new CD has already been shipped!
I'll give you a review as soon as it arrives and I listen to it.
I saw the update in regards to Walter Whitman and Thomas Eakins. The painting is indeed the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia. The two bridges in the background are still in that location, although they may have been rebuilt. The first bridge is Girard Ave, which is a main street in Philadelphia. The distant bridge is a railway bridge. Beyond the bend in the river is Fairmont Park, which is like Central Park in New York. Of course, it is pretty built up there now with expressways and the like!

Amazing Monday morning, it's unbelievable but DHL was at our door with a package... DHL ??? Yes DHL with a very small package from
Amazon dot Canada and it's only 23 January 2006 1 day before the official release date of Gino Vannelli's : "THESE ARE THE DAYS" What a great company that amazon dot Canada and even with shipping costs the cd's in Canada are much cheaper but we love to pay a few $$$$ more to be able to listen to Gino Vannelli music especially new Gino Vannelli music !!! Wow what a surprise on such a boring mondaymorning... Music brightens your life and makes you shine a happy glow, especially GINO VANNELLI'S MUSIC and VOICE !!!
Anyways we are thankful for the good service of Amazon dot Canada, an e-mail at 21 and the real cd at 23 January 2006. They also delivered this 23 Januaray 2006 in the deep down south of France...

Hi you two,
I've only ordered from Archambault once before, but I got exactly what I wanted and, considering it came all the way to Tennessee from Canada, I was satisfied with the time it took to get here. I didn't like the amount of postage I had to pay (I think it was around 10 dollars), but Archambault is located in Canada and not the US, so the shipping cost will be higher. It's not a lot higher, though, and the prices in Canada are in Canadian dollars. When converted to US dollars, the CD's are actually cheaper, so the higher shipping cost sort of evens out the price I'd pay if I got it somewhere else. Plus, here in the US, a lot of online and catalog stores have terrible shipping and handling costs. From one catalog I paid almost 20 dollars shipping for less than 200 dollars worth of Christmas gifts! I guess I expect the shipping to be more here.
