Opinions, reviews and thoughts about HAITEK HAIKU a new musical work of art by
Niels Lan Doky, produced by GINO VANNELLI :

Here we go : ............

(1)

Dear Gino and dear Niels,
after listening to HaiTek Haiku, which is again a Joy in life and a BIG pleasure, we have to let you know our feelings and thoughts, we cannot write as beautiful as you can but we try it anyway.................. We have to let you know our thoughts as appreciation for your extreme and amazing good work and good music !!!!

Haitek Haiku : Barend and Trees’s simple feelings and emotions about this new album by Niels Lan Doky and Gino Vannelli and many, many more people who worked on this project. You can read everything, all information and all the names in the CD – booklet, you can also read the Haiku poems which make you smile…….. or think… and make you read again and again, really amazing and some Haiku poems are touching and we admire deeply the people who can think of and create such special words and lines in those Haiku’s, very fascinating and we keep reading these Haiku’s over and over again !!!

We say this all with our own words and in our own simple way, we are no music or sound experts and we do not know enough English words to express our true and honest feelings, but we try and we do our very best ! And we feel no shame in our hearts to write this and the only thing we feel is LOVE,
love for music, GOOD music !!!

Again we are in Music heaven and the Haitek Haiku music grabs us in every way. In our hearts and in our brains and the rhythm flows through our bodies and bones. Again a musical treasure which makes our lives richer and makes our hearts pump and rushes our blood through our veins.
We are already hooked and we needed ONLY a few minutes to like......... noooooo LOVE this music, very good music !!!
Everytime we play this cd we hear more great things and with an earphone it is even more exciting and thrilling………this album is really a trip around the world in a musical and lyrical way. Full of energy And believe it or not we both think the same about most of the musical works of art and Barend is already singing along……….. Everyday we have a new favorite tune and it changes everyday because all 10 tracks grab us in one way or the other. The mix and combination in this music and poetry is just too awesome and too outstanding for words. And the CD cover is a piece of art too ! When you see the CD-cover closer by you will discover the BIG names of the world’s history, and the world’s news and headlines. You will see personalities bad and good but who are printed in our minds for some kind of reason or for something those people did or achieved. For instance a big favorite of ours in His kind of art : Bruce Lee. Surprise after surprise when you really have the CD in your hands and you can touch and hear the music, sounds and voices !!! What a sounds…….. What an emotions……….. What a mix of music and sounds of nature and what a sound on our simple stereo equipment. INCREDIBLE and OVERWELMING in a BIG positive way !!!

The Neighbours are not happy this evening, we think !! But we need to play this Haitek Haiku loud and clear.

We really cannot explain this music with the right words you have to hear it for yourself and decide what you feel yourself. One minute it feels very modern and the next minute it feels classical, the music intrigues us and the angle of music and the harmony between the sounds is very fascinating.
Again the joy of music grabs us. The womans voice who reads the haiku’s is so well choosen and so very GOOD. Her voice makes this album complete and real HaiTek Haiku !!! Remember we only tell you how we both feel, honestly feel about this new Haitek Haiku album, we love music and we really do not know and do not want to know about the technical things of music, we only listen, and enjoy and admire and show our appriciation for Niels Lan Doky and Gino Vannelli’s life’s work and of course all the Musicians and singers on this GREAT album of SUPERB MUSIC !!! Our first impressions, feelings and emotions:

1: INTRO : is just beautiful we bet Beethoven and all the BIG Composers will smile in heaven when they hears this music………… We heard this music in Montréal during the rehearsals while Niels was warming up His fingers, body, spirit and soul. The way this intro flows over into “Karumi “ gives us both goose-bumps all the way.

2: KARUMI : This musical work of Art hit us right in the head and grabbed us immediately. Fantastic, we have no words for this work and we really love the voice of the woman reading the Haiku’s, The Haiku poem is impressive and we keep on thinking and talking about this word Karumi and the meaning the real deep meaning of this word Karumi.

3: DIVORCE COURT : ( We do not like the word Divorce !!) But the rythms are just unbelievable and Gino makes this super musical sounds, the Haiku is sad but also funny in a way……. Powerful and swinging musical work of art for sure !!!!!! Great organ sounds…………ribs…………. WOW !!!!!!! Super Musical !!! Makes you move !! The music is infectious and catching. BIG, BIG APPLAUSSE !!!

4: TOUS DEPEND DE VOUS : A very beautiful French song, touching…….. Orchestra………beautiful romantic language……………We hear 1 English line and this amazing warm voice of this Woman called : Chris Mayne. The Music by Niels and Gino is a delight to listen to.

5: ONE NOTE AT A TIME : Yes what can we say more ??? The sounds of the acoustic bass grabs us too in this musical work of rhytm and the play of the piano is admirable and beyond words.

6: CLOSE YOUR EYES (and see) : Amazing, the Asian sounds, the piano and than…….GINO’S VOICE…. WOW !!!! Makes our hearts beat much faster………It makes us both say at the same time :
“ Show me the way “.
Gino's song on the Street Stories album. But after listening longer we change our opinion and we both say again : WHAT A VOICE !! And noooo not " show me the Way " but CLOSE YOUR EYES (and see.........) two songs written and created straight from the heart to show something to people....... who can think and feel their own emotions while listening to these songs.
See the world as a plum……………… What a line !!
The variation and combinations of Eastern and Western music is just unique and so very beautiful.

7: PAROLE PER MIO PADRE (Words to my Father) : Emotional, tears…….real tears……… A super strong voice and during this version we suddenly hear this very beautiful woman’s soprano voice of Janet Chvatal which makes this song even more emotional and impressive. Music and voices deep, very deep from their souls, we have no words for this art in music and emotions.
And ofcourse the fabulous way of playing the piano by Niels Lan Doky. We really appreciate this version of “Parole Per Mio Padre” because the voice of Gino and Janet Chvatal flow together like magical emotions. A GREAT communication through music !!!

8: Spilt Milk : WOW !!!!!! What a combination after : “Parole Per Mio Padre”. Kicks you alive and hits us right into the brains………..Swinging, rhythm, makes you smile, fantastic piano !! FANTASTIC !!!!!!!!! COOL !!!!!!

9: THE RIGHT TO REMAIN SILENT : WHAT A SHOCK !!!!!! Our hearts pumping like crazy ! What is this ???? Electrical ?? Is Gino rapping ??? My, oh my, we listen again and again……………… read the lyrics again …………Bizarre……. Gino’s Narration gets to you immediately……..This must come from the mind of a BIG Master and yesss Christina undjem’s voice, GREAT !!! Fresh, new, something total different, THE FRUITS OF MUSICAL and ARTISTIC FREEDOM !!!!!!! At the end we got a big kick of of this tune, a real BIG, BIG kick. This took our breath clean away !!! And we immediately start searching for more information about Frank Steiner and the big meaning of this message and we bet we recognize the injustice in the world of criminals, killers and lawyers and lawcourts. Boowoowoo……………………………………..the way Gino says / sings this SAYS IT ALL !!! GOOD SUPER GOOD !!!!!!!!!!! EXTREMELY GOOD !!! We cannot wait to hear the opinions of other Gino Vannelli Fans about :" The Right To Remain Silent.

10 : THE WAR OF A LONESOME DOVE : Makes our hearts feel warm, so beautiful and so emotional. The Haiku poem says it al : “ a tear falls from the eye of a lonesome dove and splashes on my hand “
Pure music, pure nature……mixed feelings but a real MASTERPIECE !!!

Barend and Trees’s thoughts about HaiTek Haiku : PHENOMENAL, PIèCE DE ART, A COMPLETE MUSICAL WORK OF ART, WONDERFUL, BEAUTIFUL, GREAT, FANTASTIC, A JOY OF LIFE, EMOTIONAL, AMAZING, BRIGHT, BRILLIANT, EXCELLENT, SUPERB, SUPREME, OUTSTANDING, AWESOME, COOL, PASSIONATE, LIGHT, ARTISTIC FREEDOM, GENUINE MUSIC, TIMELESS MUSIC, CONNECTING MUSIC, ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS, PLEASURE and ENJOYMENT, MYSTERIOUS, EXCITING, WHAT A THRILL, SUPER-GOOD MUSICIANS, SUPER GOOD SINGERS....... Re: Haitek Haiku,
Thanks! great song, close your eyes!
I am going to see Doky in Copenhagen 20/4, do you know if Gino is on stage with Doky?
Love, Tonny from Denmark.

A reply to Tonny from Denmark : You will hear a fantastic live concert for sure Tonny.....but GINO VANNELLI is NOT performing with Niels Lan Doky in April ....The band is with Chris Mayne (vocal + haiku), Emil Spanyi (keyboards), Xavier Desandre-Navarre (percussion), François Moutin (bass) and Jean-François Ludovicus (drums). It's a very amazing band.
And let's not forget NIELS LAN DOKY BEHIND THE GRAND-PIANO !!!
Love, Barend and Trees.

(8)

Hello folks!
Great sites, what a work to do. It looks like Gino is staying at home, and not join Doky in Pumpehuset. Or maybee he enter as a Surprice!!! Great light-vocal from Gino in the end of "close your eyes". And what a tenor-voice in ...to my father. Gino´s Father must still have a big influence on him. Spring is here, and im going to set up my music-studio and try making some songs - like Gino!!!!!
Love, Tonny from Denmark.......

(9)

Dear Barend & Trees,
I must start my review with "This is the best collection of sounds I have ever heard in my life". It is haunting, soothing, hopeful, etc. all at once. This cd review requires a true writer with the gift and command of language that I do not possess. Only the writers of these sounds (GINO Vannelli, Niels Lan Doky, and Brian Christopher) possess such gifts.
But I will try to convey what I feel. I have put off writing this because I do not feel worthy of it. I have listened to this cd now 20 times and still am having a difficult time expressing a description of it other than "the best". Every track is unbelievably wonderful. If I had to, I mean truly forced, to give up anything on this cd it could only be 1 track and that's because its written in French (I'm lost) and more so because I can't tell if it is happy or sad and its not GINO singing. But truly it is the variety of this cd that covers the world and therefore this track too must be left as GINO and Niels put it there.

It arrived in my mail the morning I was leaving for another drive to Toronto (minimum of 4 hours). So I got on the road and played it continuously until I arrived.
Divorce Court - Niels Lan and his piano insists I move on this track. You have no choice but to start taping your feet and snapping your fingers then the head bouncing begins. And the humor ... one sentence of vocal and away we go....
And Niels Lan again shines brightly on Spilt Milk. I don't think the piano has ever been the center of the music before for me. Although I've always loved it - but here Niels Lan is truly the music and is the world. This is the same on "One note at a time" - I again hear and hopefully understand Niels' artistry clearly and it is perfect.

Now to the GINO more involved pieces. As always, all you can do is listen to it. You are forced to pay attention to the music. You can't dance do it and you can't classify it but must move with it and hear it - and loud. Your freedom of choice is removed and I at least am taken away with the words and the sounds. GINO has done it again. First with Close your Eyes and then even more so on Right to Remain Silent. He has reinvented his vocals yet one and two more times. I don't agree that Close Your Eyes is anything like Show me the Way. I think Close your Eyes is more along the lines of music done with David Meece and even more so with Kudasai. Close your Eyes is more uplifting and hopeful with even joy and I don't even have to close my eyes to visualize exactly what GINO is saying. When he sings it I do believe the world is there for my picking with his voice resonating -- it must be true. Show me the Way is dark in its wonderful way.

Now more about the Right to Remain Silent. His voice is wonderful and I even love love love the special effects of being inside the coffin echo sound. Again, but truly this time, I do want to dance along. Difficult in the car but it must be done. And laugh - laugh out loud at GINO's inventiveness with these lyrics. When he sings of the hand reaching out I truly see this as a play with GINO performing as Frank Steiner. God - this song deserves accolades beyond this world !!!!!!! GINO's voice is wonderful and perfect and yet new again - how can he keep stunning us this way !?!?!? I am clearly taken aback by this track. Everything about it is a wonder. Oh how I would love to see GINO and Niels performing this track. This track will make everyone happy - even those heavy metal rockers would love it. If only they would ever have the opportunity to hear it.

I am driving to Flint today and will again play this cd at least 4 times. Never never before have I wanted to listen to something so much on a continuous basis. The first listen to it would not go fast enough. I was holding my breath waiting for the next and the next song - I could not wait to hear it all and experience it all. Then every time after that it goes much much too fast. I want it to last. I will take Kudasai and Street St ories with me on my drive, just in case, but probably wouldn't need them...

Side notes: I ordered the cd from cdJazz from your site on 3/25 and it arrived promptly on 4/4. And the liner notes thanking you for the photography - oh how exciting. And as always, I thank you for the photography and the updates on GINO and every artist he works with.
Love & Stuff, your humble and speechless (ha!) Debs from the USA.

Niels Lan Doky's new CD just came in the mail. How about that - it took 4 days from order time to arrival time all the way from Denmark to the USA! Here are my thoughts on first listening:

1. "Intro" - I thought "Darn. Sounds like "The War Suite" on a couple of notes." Then I looked at the credits and saw that Gino had cowritten it.

2. "Karumi" - At first listening, this sounds like a mix of moods, French, Flamenco, and Romantic. Has a very exotic, sensual sound. No I don't know the meaning of the word, but it sounds like something I might need to find out!

3. "Divorce Court" - What a funny title. Well done percussion section - almost hip-hop in feeling. Piano solo (along with piano solos on other titles in this CD) very good. I do not know the proper musical terms for what I am about to say, so bear with me. The piano notes are played very close together, but are also clearly delineated. I hear that same quality when I listen to Eric Clapton play guitar.

4. "Tout Depend De Vous" - Delicate vocals. I don't understand French, but I do understand feeling. I think "wistful" is the English word I am looking for - a bittersweet kind of song, I think. I need to find a French/English dictionary so I can interpret the lyrics because I think I hear a good story!

5. "One Note At A Time" - Love the haiku that goes with this one. Favorite line - "I can feel where your hands have touched the keys." Beautiful, elegant piano solo, and excellent rhythm track. When listening to the rhythm track I get a mental picture of the wheels of a train - that is how fast moving it is.

6. "Close Your Eyes" - The Asian influence on this one just screams. It's very obvious, as well as beautiful. Lyrics are highly metaphysical. Whoever wrote these words has done some serious soul searching. JEEZ - it figures. I just looked at the credits for this song and of course Gino (along with Brian Christopher) wrote them. Gino's vocals here rival any work he has done under his own name. I can see a weary smile on his face. (Pardon my telling what I see, because I know it is an unusual way to review an album.) Had to remind myself I was not listening to a Gino solo album.

7. "Parole Per Mio Padre" - Latin, Spanish, English, and Italian are related languages, and I know enough of the first three to interpret the lyrics fairly well. The enunciation of the words Gino sings is very, very clear. If I were not so familiar with his previous work, I would guess that I was listening to an opera singer. Wonderfully orchestrated arrangement and as always, Gino sings with a world of feeling. Song seems bittersweet in mood.

8. "Spilt Milk" - Once again we have that fast moving rhythm track. To my ears it sounds like what I would call modern jazz. Once again I can hear very close but well delineated notes. Niels Lan Doky must practice every day of his life! I have never heard his music before now, but the gift this man has is very real.

9. "The Right To Remain Silent" - oooooooo love those vocals. Sexy and spooky at the same time. Such a wicked sounding song! Betcha a million dollars this one winds up on a movie sound track. While listening to this song, I got up to get a soda and I was still shivering when I got back to the computer. You could almost feel Gino breathing down your neck as he sings. I am so taken by the vocals that I will have to reserve the lyrics for further study.

10. "War Of A Lonesome Dove" - This is what I call Sunday Jazz. I listen to stuff like this (usually on Sunday) when I am staring out the window, having my coffee, and pondering the state of the world I live in. The piano playing is absolutely flawless.

*****************
Sorry so long a review. I wrote down my thoughts as I listened to the CD, so you can call it stream-of-consciousness writing, sort of. My favorite tracks are "Karumi" and "The Right To Remain Silent". This is an excellent piece of work. The muscianship is superb. The quality of the sound recording, as well as the arrangements is beyond description. It is THAT good! I really will listen to this one repeatedly. All this was written at my first listening, so hope my facts are accurate.

Now on to the "Haitek Haiku" CD. I sent in a recommendation to National Public Radio (which is where I have been learning about jazz). Hope to help you spread the word on this great CD. I hope it earns a Grammy nomination. Also, I sent the link to the Georgia Music Hall of Fame for a lot of reasons, but mostly because I love where I live. We here in Georgia are very very rich in musical tradition, and music is the thing that has saved my sanity on a number of occasions. Hope you two have a lovely time in Denmark at the Doky concert! Best Of Luck, Teresa Torres

Hello! Barend & Trees,
It has been awhile since I have been in touch. I just wanted to say that I received the Niels Lan Doky album and I am really enjoying this wonderful mix of very different music. Close Your Eyes is a Gino song. Gino sounds so strong in voice and soul. The whole album is filled with great sounds. The Right to Remain Silent reminds me of the opening of Total Stranger from the Black Cars Album. I have to run now but I will be in touch soon with a review of the album. Hope every thing is going good for you. Bye for now, Mary Lou from the USA.

Hi friends,
I knew haitek haiku was the best music I had ever heard in my life but I did not realize the side benefit of education I am receiving from it. A revelation yesterday. A clearer understanding of what Niels and GINO were and are trying to say.

How interesting. Tuesday night on the American TV show Frasier the story line involved a lady quoting haiku and Frasier being overly impressed. She said her line (maybe 10 words) and Frasier said excite ably Is that haiku. It was great. Before this cd I would have thought Haiku was a poet's name but now I knew what they meant. Her short sentence carried so much meaning with it but it had to be thought about. A subtle message and your own message.

Then last night on another American TV show called That 70's show haiku poetry was mentioned again. One of the male teenagers used haiku to tell a young lady he was not interested in her. He had attempted to tell her outright using plain English many times but she did not get the hint so he thought he'd try haiku. He said his line and her response was:: Never has 17 syllables ever hurt so much.

And that is it -- so much meaning is packed into so little words. What an amazing thing to be able to do. Niels, GINO, and Brian Christopher pack a whollap of truth, honesty, humor, love, hope, faith, support, knowledge, understanding, etc.. all into 10 short songs....

They are amazing and this cd is amazing.... Everyone most hear it... I remember the days fondly as my sillier days (just last February before this cd was released - ha!!!) when I really didn't like music without many many spoken words with it. How silly I was!!!!!! Why is it GINO has always been before his time? The rest of the world is just a little show to catch up with his intelligence. He and Niels Lan have gotten there first - way before the rest of us can catch up with their brilliance. And now with this cd and Niels Lan Doky's intent to bring a World music to the world through the use of technology and wonderful haiku --- this is what the world needs and craves. If only everyone could hear it....

I'll do my part !!!!! Now that I have a minor glimpse of how combining modern technology with haiku can be a wonderful sharing and loving experience when heard thru the wonderful fingers of Niels Lan Doky and those amazing vocals of GINO Vannelli. Deborah from the USA......

Dear Barend & Trees:
I would like to speak a better english and have the right words to describe this new extraordinary album. Gino's voice is a caress to the senses. You can feel the energy of his person in that unique voice. I'm completelly in love with KARUMI and by the way, do you the meaning of the word Karumi?, One note at a time is such a good composition, and the performing is perfect. What can I say about Close your eyes, it's a wonderful song and listening to Gino's voice is one of the wonders that God let us hear.

Parole per mio padre leads us to listen Gino in a superb category of singers. I love the rythm on spilt milk, and the background vocals sound GREAT.
The way Gino sings in The right to remain silent is overwhelming. I just can't stop listening to this new CD!!!. I'm sure he surprises all his fans each time a new CD comes. Barend and Trees, you must be VERY HAPPY to appear on Haitek Haiku's credits. CONGRATULLATIONS!!! You deserve it. You've been working so hard to share with people like me, in the other side of the world. I thank you thank you thank you very very much.

Maru Camilli from Mexico.

I received the Haitek Haiku CD.
I haven't been able to stop listening. First I got hooked on 'Open Your Eyes'.......then, Mr. Sinister, The Right To Remain......I drive to work with the stereo turned up, always hoping that the person in the next car is listening and saying "wow, that sounds good." I just love everything about The Right to Remain. The music just has that kind of hook. Gino must have spent some time in Sicily (Mafia) to come up with this. ha ha But then again, he doesn't need to does he? While I do like all of the CD, I of course am very partial to Gino's work on it. I truthfully don't think there was any need for another vocalist. Niels work doesn't need it. He's that good. And working with Gino, even better. When you both see and or talk to both of them, please express my joy over this work of art. It truly is.

Now if I could just tear myself away long enough to listen to some other stuff...... TTYS, Roe from the USA.

I ordered 2 Haitek Haiku cd's and gave 1 to a Friend and we both are addicted to the Haitek Haiku music forever. The Haitek Haiku music is in our heads, brains and mind all day, also on bad days which are not that bad anymore !!Thanks to NIELS LAND DOKY and GINO VANNELLI, so Barend and Trees this is our honest confession, you were right all the time!

En uiteraard de "gouwe ouwen" , Crazy Life, Powerful People, Storm at sunup, Nightwalker, Pauper in Paradise... nou ja alles eigenlijk!
Groeten Ron - Holland.

Ofcourse I have Haitek Haiku already at home!
Have to get used to it though, I do not like everything. Sometimes far-fetched and experimental. I assume you can appreciate and accept some critical opinions ?
For me is YONDER TREE one of the most beautiful works. And ofcourse the "Golden-Oldies", Crazy Life, Powerful People, Storm at Sunup, Nightwalker, Pauper in Paradise... anyways basically everything!
Regards, Ron - Holland.

Hello,Barend & Trees,
Enjoyed your story about the concert in Denmark. I wish that I could have been there myself to hear all that beautiful music, especially "Tender Lies" in French. That is one of my favorite songs and I hope that one day Chris Mayne and Gino do it as a duet as I can hear it already and how fantastic it would be.

Haitek Haiku is a really fantastic album. Everytime that I listen to it I hear something new and special. Beautiful sounds from around the world. Niels and Gino should be very proud of this wonderful mix of great music. I will enjoy it forever...
All the best, Mary Lou

Hello my friends!
As I write this I am listening to "a word to my father", absolutely beautiful in any language, the passion and soul in Gino's delivery.

I can feel the emotion of what it must be like to reconcile one's feeings for a loved one after they have departed this life! I read the english lyrics as I listened to it the second time last night!

This entire cd is everything that music can and should be! Something different each time you listen! I feel if I have been around the world with the different mix of styles and emotionally I have scaled the mountainside with Gino's best song to date "close your eyes" a song to challenge everyone to seek the best that this world has to offer regardless of your ups and downs, the world "hanging ripe upon the tree" waiting for us to taste its sweetness!

You, my friends, are helping Gino so much with your hard work, he is blessed to have such friends! I smiled when I saw your names in the cd liner notes! YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Back to Niels Lan Doky and Mr. Vannelli! The "Intro" and the "Karumi" launch us into a musical experience where the songs reveal and share with the listener a certain moment or experience every true artist strives to reveal in his work whether music, art or poetry. On this particlar work of art, poetry is the key that unlocks the door to the mysteries revealed to us.I am flying close to heaven without a care , just the beauty of being, as I listen to "KARUMI" and the the magical keys of Niels Lan Doky. I can bet you that if I play this song on my radio as I drive to work I will see everything around me in a different way , maybe in a more intensely spiritual light.

Things get playful and mildly humorous with a head bopping and foot tapping number called "DIVORCE COURT" where the jazzy flavor of this melody negates all the nasty things that are associated with "divorce"! A great arrangement!

"TOUT DEPEND DE VOUS" proves that music is a universal art in any language! Chris Mayne's bitter sweet emotions help the listener to focus on realizations of loves lost and found in our own life time, of memories better understood as we re-evaluate our own existence in this world! HEAVY!!!!!!!!! Just my feelings!

Solving the mystery of music (life that is!) ONE NOTE AT A TIME! Remarkable ! Close your eyes and playback your own life inside your head! It's every man"s theme song to reconnect himself to the real world! ENOUGH SAID!!!

IF YOU ARE NOT RECONNECTED BY THE BEGINNING OF THE NEXT TRACK "CLOSE YOUR EYES" START THE CD OVER AND GIVE YOURSELF TO THE MYSTERIES IT WILL REVEAL TO YOU!

"Close Your Eyes" Is GIno"s best song ever. His lyrics are the extension of his real life re-connection to his own roots if any of you know about some of his ups and downs in his career as an artist and human being! Thanks,GINO, for your enlightenment of this world as seen through your eyes and transformed into this musical extension of yourself called "CLOSE YOUR EYES"!

"Parole Per Mio Padre"!! Must skip it as I write so I don't cry again! Powerful emotions! Another revelation from his life! Would have given all to see his Vatican performance of this song!!

LIFTED UP AGAIN by Gino and Niels with "SPILT MILK"! Life is too short to cry over spilt milk! This number says to me that most of life's mistakes can be learning experiences! This musical number makes me lightheaded and ready for anthing the day might bring on cause I know that I can prevail! A beautiful fast moving energetic piece! BRAVO!

And now "The Right To Remain Silent" with Gino's Frank Steiner" (just did a man , how about a cigarette), a mocking, satirical but true depiction of our so called "justice" system today and man's low regard for his fellow man! Why be scared when you have no soul? Murder is just a headline show for the accused! I love this song and how it reveals the tug of war between good and evil in every man!

Haitek Haitu is a work of art that is right on time! The world may have finally caught up with Mr. Vannelli if this hits big as it should! If not, never mind, because for those of us who listen to the closing track, "WAR OF A LONESOME DOVE", we know that not all is fair in love or war!

THANKS TO NIELS AND GINO FOR GIVING US THIS WONDERFUL GIFT
FROM YOUR HEARTS AND SOULS!
