- 10 January 2009: The "GINO VANNELLI new album process" is reaching the point of let go... From THE KNIGHT OF THE ROAD to DUTCHBEAT to finally A GOOD THING... This process of years ends with a great work of art, art in music and art in poetry. Gino vannelli's art!

Early February 2009 probably the 4th this new Gino Vannelli package will be for sale in Holland and the editors will make links to cd shops but also book shops where everybody can order A GOOD THING and the editors will choose shops which ship to all far away countries because we know a true Gino Vannelli fan wants this new cd-book!

- 22 January 2009: A GINO VANNELLI videoclip "The Measure of a Man" was created in the hottest, hip, fancy and glamorous club in Amsterdam, Holland! This team of dancers, musicians, recordcompany people and the Director: Peter van Eyndt. A great team worked together with Gino and created a beautiful, fun and spectacular videoclip.

- 22 January 2009: A second newsflash on the same day. The editors listened to Radio 2 today and we hear Gino Vannelli's name twice today first in the morning the dj said something about a competition to win Gino Vannelli tickets for Utrecht next 5 February 2009. He yelled GINO VANNELLI is coming to the Netherlands!!! Later at lunchtime DJ Frits spits said something like a preview on Gino Vannelli's new album next Saterday. We did not listen very well because when we here Gino Vannelli's name we are in huh??? We will pay more attention and when we hear more we post it here in the Gino Vannelli newsflashes........

- 23 January 2009: Tomorrow Saterday 24 January 2009 Time in the afternoon 14.00-16.00 on Radio 2 in the show of Frits Spits called "De strepen van Spits" De Strepenmeester... will give a preview of Gino Vannelli's new album.

Today Radio 2 in Holland played Gino Vannelli's THE MEASURE OF MAN at 9.45am and Glen from Arnhem won the tickets for GINO VANNELLI's concert in Tivoli, Utrecht. He had some nice, very nice things to say about Gino's voice and that He is a real true singer and that live on stage His voice is at least the same or even better than on the cd. Good Guy!

Yesterday they played THE MEASURE OF A MAN at 11.47am on Radio 2. This is when the editors heard and enjoyed this great song. Gino says it's a true story, read the lyrics... It's still a glorious moment when Gino Vannelli's voice is on the radio in the Dutch air or in whatever air on and around this planet...

Yesterday and today and the whole last week we heard every day THE MEASURE OF A MAN on Radio 2 and people could win 2 tickets for Tivoli Utrecht, today it was Michiel from Amsterdam, a guitarplayer and teacher and He said something about Gino Vannelli's high quality music and that Gino's music has a high level of music in His music. It sounded fantastic what He said so again a Happy winner of GINO VANNELLI tickets! Yesterday it was Sophia from Almere and she did not know Gino Vannelli's music but heard this new song THE MEASURE OF A MAN on the radio and wanted to learn more about Gino Vannelli's music so she and her Husband come down to Utrecht to see Gino live on stage.

- 4 February 2009: 11.47am The Measure of a Man again on Radio 2 and Marco from Amersfoort called in and won 2 tickets for GINO VANNELLI in Utrecht. Marco's most important comment was that Gino keeps on singing with a very good voice!

- 7 February 2009: Gino Vannelli's concert in Utrecht was good and well received but yesterday evening in the Hague (Den Haag) was super, super kicking... THANKS Den Haag you guys in the audience and at the Paard van Troje were awesome.... What a wonderful memory!!! GINO and the Musicians were too good for words... A new web page will be build up!

A real MUST have for a music lover and a poetry lover, a real treasure to relax with and you can study the poems read them and try to understand the emotions. GINO VANNELLI'S life's work is out, one of the most beautiful masterpieces Gino Vannelli ever created... His dream came true today Friday the 13th 2009.

- 17 February 2009: The editors just tuned in on Radio 2 in the program of the TROS "De Gouden Uren" with DJ Daniël Dekker and GINO VANNELLI's new cd-book is cd of the week!!! They played parts of A GOOD THING, EVERMORE and the complete song: THE MEASURE OF A MAN... What a big kick to hear this on our radio!!!

Next Friday the 20th of February Gino Vannelli will perform live in the studio of "De Gouden Uren" between 11am and 12noon and people, only a few can win tickets to be there live in the studio and be at this unique Gino Vannelli mini-concert. We just heard Edward from Bergen phoning in at 10.45am and He and His Wife are invited to be there!!! Marco also won Gino Vannelli's new cd-book: "A GOOD THING" What a fun Tuesdaymorning with GINO VANNELLI...

- 18 February 2009: Here we are again with a live piece because on Radio 2 in Holland the program "Gouden Uren" (Golden hours) is happening again and DJ Daniël Dekker talks about Gino Vannelli's new cd again... He receives an e-mail from a listener telling Him that He was at the Groningen concert and thought is was greatness in music and Gino looked so good (joking about His hair) most men are very jealous of Gino's hair because they get bald and balder by the years! Than this person asked what brand of jeans Gino wears because he thought it was a super kicking jeans. DJ Daniël Dekker said that He was present in Paradiso Amsterdam and saw how good Gino looked and that the new songs sounded super top... But Daniël refused to ask Gino about His jeans... He told this person to try to win tickets for next Fridaymorning in the competition in about an hour and ask Gino Himself about His jeans during this intimate concert for radio 2. All this was about 9.45am this morning and around 10.50am there was a GINO VANNELLI PROMO AGAIN with parts of EVERMORE and A GOOD THING and than Daniël played the complete GINO VANNELLI SONG: "From This Day on" WOW!!! What an attention for GINO VANNELLI's life's work! Than the hot line and a Guy called Johan the Painter won two tickets for Fridaymorning for this very intimate private concert at a secret spot in Hilversum for Radio 2 between 11am and 12noon. So listen to the GOUDEN UREN Fridaymorning 20 February 2009 with DJ Daniël Dekker. GINO VANNELLI live with the Dutch Band and guess who plays the drums during this live performance??? Hans Eijkenaar!!!

- 19 February 2009: The editors are laughing like crazy because we tuned in again on Radio 2 "Gouden Uren" and guess who was on the phone with DJ Daniël Dekker????? Wil Spelbos, Utrecht's biggest GINO VANNELLI fan, who always supports our GINO VANNELLI fan site!!! She won tickets for the secret place near Hilversum to be at the GINO VANNELLI live performance!!! CONGRATULATIONS Wil!!!!!! How funny, live can be beautiful!! On 9.25am we already heard the Gino Vannelli promo to warm up the listeners for Gino Vannelli's new album and the live performance tomorrow and at 10.47am they played "Don't Give Up On Me" and people could call the HOT-line... We bet many Gino Vannelli fans tried to get in but Wil was the strongest and the fastest... We are very happy for Wil, see you tomorrow!!!
